Tropical Fuck Storm is an Australian rock band formed in 2017 in Melbourne, featuring Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin from The Drones, alongside drummer Lauren Hammel from High Tension, and Erica Dunn, who has played with Mod Con, Harmony, and Palm Springs. Their sound blends art punk, psychedelic rock, and experimental rock, often characterized by a raw, intense energy and thought-provoking lyrics. The band's debut album, "A Laughing Death in Meatspace," was released in 2018, followed by "Braindrops" in 2021, both showcasing their distinctive style that merges noise rock with punk blues and heavy psych elements.
