About the Artist
Louis XIV is an American rock band formed in 2003 in San Diego, California. Known for their garage rock revival and indie rock sound, they blend elements of post-punk revival into their music. The band released four EPs and three albums from 2003 to 2008, with their later albums being distributed by Atlantic Records. Notable works include their albums "The Best Little Secrets Are Kept" (2005) and "Slick Dogs and Ponies" (2008). The group disbanded in 2009, but briefly reunited in 2013, although this was short-lived.
