Homeboy Sandman, born Angel Del Villar II in 1980, is a New York-based rapper known for his distinct blend of hip hop styles, including abstract, alternative, and conscious hip hop. Emerging from Elmhurst, Queens, he made his mark in the underground scene with his first EP, "Nourishment," released in March 2007, followed by his debut album, "Nourishment (Second Helpings)," later that same year. His second album, "Actual Factual Pterodactyl," released in August 2008, garnered significant acclaim, particularly for its sharp lyrics and melodic flow, earning recognition in publications like XXL.
