About the Artist

Danny Alias is an American house music artist and playwright from Norridge, Illinois. He co-founded Persona Records in 1984, notable for releasing "Civil Defense," an early Chicago house track played by DJ Ron Hardy. The label also launched singles from key figures like Jamie Principle and Frankie Knuckles. In 2012, "Civil Defense" saw a re-issue on Kill the DJ, highlighting its lasting impact on the genre.
