About the Artist
Carpool Tunnel is a Bay Area band that formed through the musician networking app Vampr in 2017. The group consists of drummer Daniel Stauffer, guitarist Bradley Kearsley, and singer/guitarist Ben Koppenjan, with bassist Spencer Layne joining later. Their debut single, “Afterlight,” produced by Grammy-nominated Billy Mohler, showcases their blend of ’60s and ’70s classic rock and blues with a modern twist. Their full-length album, BLOOM, released on February 26, 2021, further develops their psychedelic sound.
Playing at Bottom of the Hill, a beloved indie rock venue, Carpool Tunnel will likely create an engaging, laid-back atmosphere that complements their free-spirited style. This intimate setting is perfect for experiencing their California cool vibe up close.
